Daikon Carrot Grand Opening Recap – Jersey City, You Brought the Love

This past Saturday, Daikon Carrot officially opened its doors at 233 West Side Avenue, and Jersey City showed up big. From our first banh mi out the window to the last cup of Gong Cha tea served, the energy was electric.

We launched Daikon Carrot with one goal: to serve food that feels as good as it tastes. And after seeing the smiles, hearing the feedback, and watching the community come together, we know we're right where we belong.

🌱 Better You. Better Food. Better Community.

This isn’t just a tagline — it’s how we live and cook every day.

  • Better you – because you deserve food that nourishes.

  • Better food – because fresh ingredients and bold flavors matter.

  • Better community – because we're stronger together.

We’re honored to be part of the West Side and committed to bringing something fresh, fast, and full of love to the local food scene.

📸 Grand Opening Photo Gallery Now Live!

We had a full photographer on site capturing every moment — the first bites, the excited faces, the lines out the door, and the fun behind the scenes.

Whether you were there or not, these photos say it all — Jersey City came hungry and ready to celebrate.

🥖 The Banh Mi Craze (and Wrap!) Has Begun

What’s everyone coming back for?

  • Our Banh Mi Sandwiches – packed with flavor and love.

  • Build-your-own Bowls – with jasmine rice, vermicelli noodles, or lettuce.

  • And our exclusive Banh Mi Wrap – only at Daikon Carrot. All the goodness of our signature sandwich, in a portable, crave-worthy wrap.

Top it off with Saigon Street Fries, Korean-loaded fries, or a side of comforting Miso or Pho Broth.

🧋 Bubble Tea Is Served

We’re also proud to operate a full Gong Cha right inside Daikon Carrot. Pair your meal with a classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something fun and new. It’s all under one roof — flavor heaven.
